About Catherine

I am an attorney and currently work for the Oregon Judicial Department.  I have been an attorney for over 20 years. While I started my practice as a litigator, I soon switched to a transactions practice.  During my career, I have worked in both the public and private sectors in both attorney and non-attorney roles.  While I have held a variety of positions, throughout most of my career, my work has been in the areas of business transactions and contacts with a focus on intellectual property, licensing, and real property and construction.  

 

For the past 15 years, I have worked in the public sector.  My commitment to public service and desire to continue working in the public sector in business transactions is what led me to select the Rutgers MPA program with its concentration in Budgeting and Financial Management.  This MPA program has provided me with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the areas of public administration and public financing and budgeting, which is invaluable as a public sector transactional attorney.
